the free peoples of the world

 keep election monitors to assure that all elections across the globe are free, fair

and not influenced by wealthy benefactors...

it is the need for expensive advertising 
that 
renders our politicians
beholden to the wealthy manipulators 

and thus
let the internet be the only needed platform

for information exchange

with

a series of metrics that decides who can run for office

and requiring no need for funding beyond what is supplied by the state

this as a way of keeping the best and brightest leaders

and not

just those that can raise the most funds

as was the case in the past

thus assuring that the elected leaders

are free to make the right decisions

for the benefit of the peoples who elected them
as opposed to the current state of being beholden to the wealthy donors.
